  1. I liked your social problems facing the U.S. I think that you pointed out a very interesting combo, censorship and degradation of morality in the media. It's a very hard balance to find. How much information can we show and allow others to see on television to show an accurate depiction but, at the same time, avoid being salacious and grotesque? Unfortunately, today many media outlets think that overexposure and lack of restraint is good television.

  2. I liked the caption on your welfare picture, the whole idea of being much more willing to let the government take other people's money than being willing to actually go out and help other people yourself. Its like saying, "oh yes I totally support that, but oh no not enough to actually do something about it." To me its hypocritical to give support to welfare systems but not be personally active in supporting people who need your help.

  3. I just have to say that when I saw your picture on censorship, I immediately thought of the whole "See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil." I would agree with Harrison, that it is very difficult to find the balance between being educated about things going on in the world and being exposed to all the terrible things. I agree with you that the media is losing values that we hold and cherish. And I think that we will need to take on the role of censorship for ourselves and our families because of that. Thank you for sharing this, Sharon.
